Bless The Fall Album Teaser Video.
Pretty excited about this one!!
I was able to work with the INCREDIBLY talented Motion Army crew on the stop motion animation. It was a ton of fun. We set up in an extra bedroom I had in my house. Really basic green chroma with a one light soft box setup. And two late nights later, we were done filming all the stop motion. Here's a little behind the scenes action:
It was tedious, but also a ridiculous amount of fun. Each second was 24 different shots. I really want to get a tally of just how many shots we did. Let's see....math time.
37 seconds.
Each second is 24 still frames.
take into the account that some seconds have multiple stop motion animations on them...
24 still frames x 45 seconds (to compensate for multiple animation frames) = 1080 still frames.
1080 stills put together to create that animation. Give or take a few. Phewwwww!
Dan, who is brilliant at editing, then worked his magic, and what you see above is some pretty epic talent on his behalf. Check their work in the link below. I've been fortunate enough to work on a few of these sets as well.
All in all, this was a rad experience. I'm making a show reel for my new website launching in a few weeks, and I'm excited to be incorporating some stop motion work for it. Be on the lookout soon!
